ABOUT
The artist
Fernanda Medina is an artist based in Ithaca, New York. Born in 1978, Cordoba, Argentina, paints realism and creates images combining her love to portray beauty and to evoke feelings. Her paintings focus on human figures and objects, with the overall composition being influenced by her personal experiences. She hopes to portray this with her artwork, but also give the viewer an opportunity to connect with the paintings and find their own significance.

She also enjoys painting commissioned portraits, and works closely with her clients to produce beautiful works of art that will bring joy and be cherished for years to come.

Fernanda received her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts in 2003 at the National University of Cordoba, Argentina. She has participated in many group exhibits in her country and now enjoys showing her work locally in Upstate New York.
